Normally our food is served in cooking dishes or service dishes. Warm food cools quickly particularly when served outdoors on summer evenings. The primary goal of Hot Cap is to offer you the option of serving warm, delicious food throughout the entire dinner party regardless of whether you find yourself indoors or outdoors.
The Hot Cap retains the warmth of prepared food prior to, during and after meal times. It works with potatoes, rice, pasta as well as with dishes containing sauce. Just put a napkin above the edge of the kettle to avoid dirtying. It also serves as a perfect heat retaining receptacle for freshly baked buns, baked potatoes and eggs.
While waiting for the completion of barbequing or during the course of an outdoor dinner, food cools quickly in tandem with the serving of a cold salad and a sour cream sauce. However, when served with potatoes, rice or pasta there is an expectation that the food should be served warm, according to popular taste.
Hot Cap covers and insulates the pot and incorporates a pocket which accommodates the service lid thus trapping the steam from the warm, delicious food inside. Sewn in polyester Hot Cap is washable in 40 degrees, crease proof and un-shrinkable. It’s made in one size, but suitable for two of the most common sizes of pots and pans in households, 2 and 3 litres.
Incorporating a carefully adapted design, the tasteful polyester cloths and colours have been designed to match furniture, pads and table cloths. This makes Hot Cap a user-friendly solution for the service of warm food both indoors as well as outdoors. The design itself adds to the ambience of the dinner table as the pot is completely covered by an attractive covering and you do not need to display the pot on the table.
During the summer when people often eat their meals outdoors it’s essential that prepared food is kept warm prior to serving. This is also crucially important when you go outdoor camping. In cramped spaces as for an example on a boat or around a small camping table the Hot Cap is very usable since it covers the pot completely and protect against burning. It also provides a perfect protection around children, for example, day-care centres. It’s also very useful for handicapped people when it gives you a chance to grab the pot without burning.
The Hot Cap excels as a heated container for eggs at restaurants, hotels as well as at guest hostels.
